Emergency incident: disruption continues

An fatal incident at Ashford station closed the Canterbury West line earlier this morning for some three hours. Emergency services have completed their work and authorised the line to reopen after 09.00. Trains are starting to run again, however expect further delays and alterations to some services this morning as the disruption clears. Southeastern’s latest estimate is a return to normal services by 11.00, however the 11.11 Wye to Ramsgate train is showing as cancelled. Southeastern advises passengers to allow extra time.
