Housebuilder Redrow attended the November Council meeting to give a regular update and answer questions.

They explained that they had cut short works on Willesborough Road to make way for other roadworks. They would return before and after Christmas to complete work. The next off-site works will involve installing a footway on the rail bridge in the direction of the hospital. Beyond that improvements to the hospital roundabout and the Simone Weil/Canterbury Road junction would follow. They hoped to phase these but timing will be determined by Kent Highways.

The reed bed, designed to ensure nutrient neutrality for the estate, should be open around Christmas and it is believed to be the first in England developed for this purpose.
