YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to attend an Extraordinary Meeting of Chartham Parish Council to be held on MONDAY 10TH JUNE 2024 at 2.00 P.M at Chartham Village Hall, Station Road, Chartham, Canterbury, Kent, CT4 7HZ

Under Appendix A of the Parish Council’s Standing Orders all Councillors should announce at the start of the meeting if they wish to record the meeting. A copy of the Standing Orders and Appendix A are available to view on the Parish Council’s website or the Clerk can provide a copy on request.

1. CHAIRMAN OPENING REMARKS AND APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Members of the Committee should declare any disclosable pecuniary interest or any other significant interests in any items on this agenda. Disclosable Pecuniary Interests (DPIs) under the Localism Act 2011; the nature as well as the existence of any such interest must be declared.

3. CANTERBURY CITY COUNCIL DRAFT LOCAL PLAN CONSULTATION
REPORT: Canterbury City Council have granted an extension of time for Chartham Parish Council to submit comments regarding the Draft Local Plan Consultation 2040 (and other associated consultations). The Parish Council must agree and submit comments by 10th June 2024.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. to consider and pass the proposed Chartham Parish Council comments upon Canterbury City Council’s Draft Local Plan to 2040
2. to consider and pass the proposed Chartham Parish Council comments upon Canterbury City Council’s Draft Air Quality Action Plan
3. to consider and pass the proposed Chartham Parish Council comments upon Canterbury City Council’s Draft District Transport Strategy
4. to consider and pass the proposed Chartham Parish Council comments upon Canterbury City Council’s Draft Open Space Strategy
5. to consider and pass the proposed Chartham Parish Council comments upon Canterbury City Council’s Draft Sustainable Design Guide
