Kent County Council (KCC) gives notice that due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks (UKPN), it will be necessary to close part of Rattington Street, Chartham from 24th October 2023 for up to one day, between the hours of 08.00 and 16.00.
Shalmsford Street, Chartham will be closed in the vicinity of number 5, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is Shalmsford Street, A28 Ashford Road, Milton Manor Road, Cockering Road, The Crescent and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
