Kent County Council (KCC) gives notice that due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks (UKPN), it will be necessary to close part of Riverside, Chartham from 30th October 2023, with estimated completion by 01st November 2023, between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 5 Riverside Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
