The Conservative Party candidate Roger Gale has been elected as the MP for Herne Bay and Sandwich.

At the count, which took place at the Westgate Hall in Canterbury, the full result was declared as follows:

Thea Barrett – Green Party: 3,529
Angie Curwen – Liberal Democrats: 2,709
Roger Gale – The Conservative Party: 17,243 ELECTED
Amelia Randall – Reform UK: 10,602
Helen Elizabeth Whitehead – Labour Party: 14,744

The turnout was 63%.
