We have been told by Canterbury City Council that the petitions that were signed recently against the ridiculous increases in parking charges for School Lane car park, will only be considered if it gains over 1000 signatures. (the paper ones gained 200).
Therefore to get the City Council to realise the sense of bad feeling, and how much the charges effect the village please use the below link to register or come and sign the paper copies in the Herne Centre. It literally takes a couple of minutes.

If we reach enough signatures the City Council will consider it again in October. This is not just for residents, its for visitors, users of the Herne Centre, the pubs, shop, dentist, St Martins Church, Schools, trades. Please share this far and wide and lets fight to get our car park affordable again.
