The audience at the Stone Parish Annual MeetingLast night’s Annual Meeting of Stone Parish was a great success!
Attendees at the event at the Claire Tiltman Centre received the annual reports of Stone Parish Council and Kent County Council, as well as listening to an presentation by the council’s new community Engagement Manager, Steven Muzio, of the current improvements taking place at Stone Recreation Ground.

Community Grants of £500 were awarded by Stone Parish Council to Mary’s Child – Kent to assist the efforts of the food bank, and the Brent 6th Scout Group for the purchase of new camping equipment. The Dartford and District Photographic Society was also awarded £250 towards the purchase of a new laptop.

Highlights of the evening were the award of exceptional service to Reverend Kenneth Clark for his twenty years of guidance to the parish community at St Mary’s Church Stone, as well as a fantastic sneak preview performance of their upcoming theatre show by all the sections of Paige Starbuck’s School Of Dance.
