Student and Staff Awards 2024

EKC Dover College holds a unique awards night each year to honor the outstanding accomplishments of our students and staff.

Attendees were anxious to celebrate the accomplishments of the year at this year’s event with a high turnout. &nbsp,

People were invited to join in the holidays, honouring the determination, hard work, and personal goals reached by our learners. College- broad categories included the renowned’ Most Revolutionary Student’,’ Contribution to the College Community ‘, and ‘ Social Action ‘ awards, and the desired’ Principal’s Award’. Finalists were presented with a prize, certification, and a gift card. &nbsp,

Winner of the Principal’s Award, Level 3 Motor Sport scholar, Harley Osbourne, was recognised for his hard work both in his program and in his role as Kids ‘ Union President. Harley has played a major role in numerous campus events over the past academic year, including the Freshers ‘ Fayre and College Pride, and has been a fantastic ambassador for all individuals. &nbsp,

The College established a special prize in Lynn Barr’s name in honor of her, a long-standing part of our Access to Higher Education group. Amy Tyler, a scholar in Access to Higher Education: Humanities and Social Sciences, was given the first ever Lynn Barr Award, honoring her outstanding contributions to the field and the progress she has made since joining us in September 2023. &nbsp,

It was appropriate to honor Lynn’s significant contribution to the EKC Dover College group given her pension this year. We wish Lynn a beautiful and fulfilling retirement. &nbsp,

We would like to congratulate Southern Water, Cactus Graphics, Louise Webb, and Kathryn Lammas for their roles in presenting these honours. Additionally, we want to congratulate the students and their families who supported and attended this occasion.
