Whitfield Parish Council Defibrillators

Whitfield Parish Council have 4 defibrillators that are registered with The Circuit and the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and are on the British Heart Foundation Defib Finder website www.defibfinder.uk

Once a month a Parish Councillor checks every unit, the function, and contents.

The locations are:-

• One Stop Shop, Sandwich Road, CT16 3HB
• Whitfield Village Hall, Sandwich Road, CT16 3LY
• Sports Pavilion, Whitfield Recreation Ground, Cranleigh Drive, CT16 3FG
• Saxon House, Willingdon Road, CT16 2JX

999 callers will be directed to these locations in an emergency, and the Parish Council Clerk is then informed of their use.

The Defibrillator unit is checked, any used pads are replaced, and SECAmb is informed that the defibrillator is available for use once more.

Our defibrillators do not require a code to open them, so they can be immediately used by anyone in an emergency. They are all in public locations and are accessible at all times.

Please inform the Parish Clerk if you use them, so the necessary checks can be carried out.
