Hawkinge Town Council have engaged the DDS Group to extend the car parking facilities at the Hawkinge Community Centre and to resurface the existing car park and the Village Hall car park.
The work is expected to start on Zone 1 on 3 June 2024, in Zone 2 from 15 July and on the Village Hall car park from 30 July 2024. Preparatory work is being carried out over 6 days. 15 May—22 May 2024.
The work is expected to take between 13—15 weeks but, being weather dependent, all dates are subject to change.
Parking will be available throughout the course of the work. The contractor will be posting notices at the site at key dates and to inform changes to access.
DDS will try to cause as little disruption as possible, but some inconvenience must be expected. Please be mindful when planning a trip to the Community Centre.
