At the Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 17th April, we held our annual Hawkinge Heroes Awards. These are for persons nominated for outstanding work within the community. We were pleased to award Jodie Wood and Maria Waugh, for the fantastic work of running the Hawkinge Scarecrow Festival every year. David Houghton was also awarded for creating the shelving for the Hawkinge Community Fridge.
