UK Power Networks – Temporary Road Closure – Chartway Street & Pitt Road, Sutton Valence – 22nd July 2024 (Maidstone District)
Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to impose restrictions on part of Chartway Street & Pitt Road, Sutton Valence, from 22nd July 2024 with estimated completion by 9th August 2024.
A temporary 30mph speed limit will be imposed on Chartway Street between the junctions of Bridgefield and Charlton Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Pitt Road will be closed between the junctions of Chartway Street and Cross Drive. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pitt Road, Ulcombe Road, B2163 Leeds Road, A274 Maidstone Road, Chartway Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
These restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new electric connection works to be carried out, works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
