The Transformation Alliance continues its work to improve Medway and Swale’s Voluntary and Charity sector, improving its access to support and make it more resilient.

What is the Transformation Alliance?
The Transformation Alliance is designed to provide low cost, high quality backroom services (e.g. IT, HR, Payroll) delivered by the sector for the sector. It has now expanded to include any frontline services that can be provided to the Transformation Alliance pot.

Ultimately, giving you access to cheaper services, meaning more money can be directed to deliver the frontline services of your organisation.

The Transformation Alliance could also gain your organisation additional income revenue by offering a service to Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) organisations. This would keep funding within the sector, not in the hands of the private sector.

Offers Currently Available to the Alliance

  • Graphic Design Service provided by Mutual Aid Road Reps (MARR)
  • HR, Payroll and DBS Services provided by Kent Association for the Blind (KAB)
  • IT Services provided by S-Guard
  • Payroll Services provided by Compaid
  • Free IT Training provided by Mid Kent College
  • Data Services provided by futureCoders
  • Training Services provided by Social Enterprise Kent (SEK)

How much money could you earn by offering a service?
Over £800 has been received in the first 3 months of 2024 – that means VCSEF money has been kept in the VCSEF sector!

We also know that more income has been earned since then.

What Services could you offer?
Does your organisation have a finance expert, who has capacity the week after payday?

Does your organisation have a HR expert who can give a helping hand?

Does your organisation have an IT expert who can assist those in trouble?

Does your organisation have something to offer to the Alliance, a frontline service?

Examples include but are not limited too:

  • Transport
  • Translation Services
  • Delivery
