  • The summertime tipple was voted BETTER tasting than Pimm’s in a Which? blind taste test2
  • Available for just £6.69 down from £7.99 from 1st to 14th July

Game, Set, Match! With tennis season on the horizon, Aldi is giving shoppers the chance to serve up its award-winning Austin’s Summer Punch for less, by slashing the cost to just £6.69 (was £7.99 – Saving 17%).

From 1st – 14th July, fans can sip on the British staple for a fraction of the price, with an ace saving of 62% compared to alternative Pimm’s No. 12

In a summer punch blind taste test by consumer champion Which? last summer, Pimm’s No.1 was pipped to the post by Aldi’s own-brand alternative, which came out top scoring 75% (Pimm’s received a score of 70%).

The reduction comes as the UK’s cheapest supermarket3 predicts it will sell 2.2 million glasses of Austin’s Summer Punch from 24th June -14th July.

Fruity and crisp, this refreshing gin-based spirit is curated with a secret recipe that infuses a delicate blend of warm spice and hints of citrus fruits to secure a sweet, soft finish.

So, whether shoppers are hosting a tennis watch party, kicking back in the garden, or simply buying a gift for those who want to celebrate in style, Aldi’s Austin’s Summer Punch (£6.69, 70cl) is the perfect accompaniment. Best served chilled in a tall glass with lemonade, plenty of ice, a slice of lemon and garnished with a sprig of mint.

What’s more, budding mixologists will be pleased to know that Aldi’s classic Aperini Superiore (£6.49, 70cl) has also returned just in time for summer. At a bargain price of just £6.49, shoppers can save 62% compared to pricier alternative, Aperol.

For a fresh summer sip at a fraction of the price, head to Aldi stores now or order via Click & Collect.
