From Monday 12 February the Town Council’s playground at Spitals Cross will no longer be in use. It is being relocated to accommodate Sevenoaks District Council’s plan for new housing and other amenities. The District Council will replace the playground by the end of December 2024, but best endeavours will be made to provide the replacement playground sooner.

Existing playground at Spitals Cross

While we appreciate this must be disappointing for users of the playground, here’s a reminder of the other great play areas we are fortunate to have in Edenbridge that you may like to use:

  • Stangrove Park
  • Recreation Ground
  • Marsh Green

We also have:

  • Blossoms Park skatepark
  • Stangrove Park outdoor gym and sports area including Street Snooker and Crossbar King
