THE JUDITH LADY MONTEFIORE COLLEGE in partnership with NISHMAT (The Jerusalem Centre for Advanced Torah Study for Women) are pleased to confirm the continuing success of this two-stage course of intensive part-time learning for women, launched in January 2023.
Stage 1. A preparatory course (Mechina) lasting for two years, is divided between classes on how to learn advanced Gemara and Halacha as well as topics related to Halacha for women. The learning includes two sessions a week in term time, partly face-to-face and partly on Zoom.
Stage 2. A Yoetzet Halacha course for those selected to continue, is designed to equip graduates with the ability to advise women on questions relating to Taharat Hamishpacha.
