On Thursday 17 August, we celebrated the first ever T Level results day, with a 100% pass rate for our Education and Childcare T Level. We caught up with a few students from a variety of courses to congratulate them and find out where they’re heading next.

Chianne achieved a B grade for the first year of her T Level in Early Years, putting her in good stead for the following year.

“I secured a B in the T-Level for Early Years, and now I’m ready for my last year of College, getting ready for a journey towards Canterbury Christ Church University.”

Ell heads for success with a B in her Health and Social Care Level 3. She will be studying Forensic Investigation at Canterbury Christ Church University this September.

She said: “Choosing to study Health and Social Care at EKC Broadstairs College was the best decision I could have made. I have made lifelong friendships and created some good memories that I will always be in my heart. I hope University will be just as enjoyable!”

Joey achieved excellence with a distinction in Digital Production, Design and Development and has been offered a four-year apprenticeship.

He said: “My hard work has paid off and I achieved a distinction, which is the equivalent of 3 A’s at A Level. I am so excited to have been offered an apprenticeship in Software Engineering in Rochester.”

Lucy got top marks with a Distinction in Creative Media Production and Technology.

She said: “EKC Broadstairs College has helped me discover what I really want and guided me to choose a career path I enjoy. I had so much support from my lecturers at College and I’ve now been accepted into the University of Kent – my first choice university!”

We are very proud of what the students have achieved this year and wish them luck in the future.
