Our new volunteers receive accredited professional training (2 days a week over 7 weeks) followed by mentoring, ongoing development, and clinical supervision. Our next training course is due to start in the Autumn and it is so helpful if volunteers can join us before then to get to know us all.  More details and application forms are on our website www.davss.org.uk or by emailing office@davss.org.uk or telephoning on 01892 502074.

Volunteers say this is one of the most satisfying roles they have ever undertaken, and our courageous clients tell us that this support is life changing for them and their children. During the last 12 months we received over 1000 referrals across West Kent, (both women and men) involving over 1600 children so the need is urgent.
