Trottiscliffe Parish Council is looking to appoint a new Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer. The position will involve working from home for 8 hours per week.

The Clerk/RFO will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business of the Council, including the production of the agendas/ minutes for all Council meetings, liaising with outside bodies as well as implementing Council decisions.

Minutes will be required to be taken at the ten monthly evening meetings [the Council does not normally meet in August and January] in addition to any planning meetings and extraordinary meetings that may be held.

This position is within LC2 (SCP 23-28) depending upon qualifications and experience.

The Clerk/ RFO will also be responsible for all the financial and administrative transactions and records of the Council.

The successful applicant will have proven excellent communication, finance, and organisational skills. A parish council owned laptop will be provided.
