A radio series examines the proportionally high mortality rate for those with darker skin who have been diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. The most fatal form of skin cancer is mammaloma, and in the UK, the rate has increased by about one-third in the past ten years. This year, according to experts, will have an unprecedented large of 20,800 cases, with a 2040 expected increase of 27, 000.
