On behalf of SMIRA and the Association of Chatham Docks Commercial Operators, come and hear about the latest plans to Save Chatham Docks and the battle to stop Peel Waters’ Basin 3 Planning Application which if approved, would spell the end to Chatham Docks.  Meeting will take place at St. Mary’s Island Community Centre on Sunday 10th March from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.  (Note: Time indicated on flyer states 2 pm but this has changed to 2.30 pm).

Hundreds of objections have already been submitted to Medway Council against this Application and you can e-mail your own comments to the Council at

*protected email* quoting reference MC/24/0154.

Hear also about progress with our own masterplan for Chatham Docks to create a new employment hub utilising its position as the only non-tidal docks in the South East and our plans to ensure that Medway Council retains Chatham Docks as a working dock in its new Local Plan.
